Software Engineer (Backend) at Brysk

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to design and implement backend systems and APIs.
• Develop, test, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and PostgreSQL.
• Optimize and improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of our backend systems.
• Ensure the security of our applications by implementing best practices and security measures.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams for efficient deployment and continuous integration.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure a smooth user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in backend development.

Qualifications:

• 6 Months - 2 Years of experience as a Backend Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Knowledge of deployment processes and tools.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Solid understanding of database design and optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Previous experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with GraphQL.
• CI/CD pipeline experience.
