Lead Backend Developer at Scimplifi

Role & Responsibilities

We are looking to hire a Lead - Backend Developer. You will

• Architect, build, maintain and deploy excellent backend applications with clean code.
• Work closely with the Front end Team, Product Head to define the architecture, best practices, and system design.
• Maintaining a high bar for code quality and contributing to the future growth of the backend team.
• Have fun doing all of this!

What we are looking for

• Strong 2+ years of hands-on experience in backend development, along with API-driven environment, providing RESTful APIs or GraphQl… technology as suits the product.
• Enthusiasm about learning new technologies that you maybe haven't worked with previously
• A firm grasp on data structure, algorithms, relational databases and document databases.
• Knowledge of functional and object-oriented programming
• Strong sense of ownership demonstrated through shipping production-quality code equipped with testing, monitoring, and documentation
• Take initiative at solving problems
• Willing to work under Early Stage Startup Uncertainty/Chaos
