Associate Product Manager at Yuma Energy (Yulu)

Role summary

Yuma, currently, is a network of battery swap stations. We are solving the problem of range anxiety in general, and downtime for the goods mobility use cases in particular. As a product manager, you would own the swap experience of the user - planning a swap, discovery of swap station and the experience at swap station. This problem statement is at the intersection of user experience, hardware and user delight.

Key Responsibilities

You would own multiple product artefacts -

• app that enables end user to get swap,

• app used by field staff to execute swap. This interacts with multiple hardware systems, and

• other reporting dashboards etc.

You would broadly do the following

• Deeply understand the user and ensure an ideal swap experience.

• Collaborate with hardware teams (battery charging units) to build software that interacts with hardware.

• Build vision, problem scoping and execution roadmap.

Key Requirements

• Passionate about EV and sustainability space.

• Experience in building at least one 0-1 product.

• Experience of having working with hardware or software that interacts with hardware is preferable.

• Deep understanding of user delight.

• Traits -Self-motivated, High agency, ownership, Can work independently, Desire to learn and improve. Always aspiring to do career-defining work.

• Problem discovery - Ability to get down to the bottom of things. Ability to deeply understand the emotional/mental context of the user when they are interacting with the product.

• Solutioning- Ability to generate ideas, evaluate them and make decisions by carefully considering the right factors and trade-offs, especially for problems at the intersection of operational process design and technology.

• Execution- Ability to communicate and work cohesively with cross functional teams with a 'let's-get-this-done' attitude.
